The Good in Modern Tv Stations
True Facts
The Children's Television Act of 1990 and additional regulations were made in 1996. They were set out to help ensure the airing of television programs especially designated for children. The Act requires broadcasters to air Educational Informational Programming for children. Educational television is suppose to be shown at least 3 hours per week and try to limit the amount of advertising time allowed during these children's programs. The shows must be labeled for educational informational on television screen. This is a great act and always a plus for children to be involved in outdoor activities. This helps children and adolescents stay in shape, out of trouble and keep their little motors running.
